Patrick Ruane is a Pittsburgh-based artist who spends his summers painting along the Muskingum River in southeastern Ohio. Inspired by the rivers, woods, and fields of Appalachia—as well as the landscapes he seeks out with easel in hand—his work moves between realism and soft, atmospheric minimalism. Each piece carries a quiet, meditative sense of place, full of light and gentle mood.

This curated collection captures the poetry of nature in every brushstroke—beautiful windows into the outdoors for any room.

Patrick Ruane has staged over 25 solo exhibitions. Highlights of the last decade include shows at The Westmorland Museum of American Art, Wittenberg University, and The Pennsylvania Governor’s Residence. His work is in private and corporate collections nationally and internationally.
