Sarracenia, a genus of carnivorous plants indigenous to the US and Canada, have interestingly evolved into a funnel or pitcher shape in order to trap insects. This beautifully dried specimen with a very interesting backstory make a dramatic addition to any arrangement. The very intricate pattern on the pitcher is a beautiful example of nature's artistry.
