Learn the structural and design practices used in creating various styles of Dried Flower Garlands for any application. Perfect for the novice or a great compliment to the skills practiced in our wreath class, students will learn how to create a garland specific to the season and application for the decoration. Review flower selection, design consideration, and different techniques that will inform perfect garland creation for any occasion.
After a thorough tutorial, students will participate in a guided session, building a red oak leaf garland that practices several of the skills reviewed in the session. Each student will leave with a completed oak leaf harvest garland and the skills to create new designs of their own.
