January at Roxanne's Dried Flowers

January (in Latin, Ianuarius) is named after Janus, the God of beginnings and transitions; the name has its beginnings in Roman mythology, coming from the Latin word for door (ianua) since January is the door to the year. As we at Roxanne's Dried Flowers enter the New Year, we're finding inspiration in bare branches, fresh citrus and floral fragrances while seeds and plants lay dormant in the winter ground.

Happy New Year and Happy January!
